Reko exists because paper compliance is broken. Every independent operator we spoke to kept a lever-arch folder on a shelf, half-filled in, half forgotten, dreaded on inspection day. The tools that replaced it were built for chains. They were expensive, heavy and nobody on the line used them.
So we made a smaller, calmer thing. One app. The jobs you actually have to do. Nothing else.
Reko is built and run in the UK. We are based in Norwich, Norfolk, but the work happens on the phone, in the kitchen and at the pass, where compliance actually lives.
Reko is a product of Hollr Group Ltd. Founded by John Magee in 2025. Twenty years in hospitality, including time at Jamie Oliver Events, Ballymaloe Cookery School, KERB street food and private chef work. Reko is the tool he wishes he had.
